At Our Lady of Fatima Academy, we believe in the importance of athletics as a complement to our students’ academic and spiritual development. Our sports programs promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition, instilling values that will serve our students throughout their lives.
Parochial Athletic League
The Parochial Athletic League provides faith-based K-12 schools within the boundaries of the Diocese of Orange an opportunity for friendly interscholastic competition in an environment of Christian sportsmanship, honesty, teamwork, spirit, mutual respect and responsibility. The opportunity to represent the school in interscholastic play builds camaraderie among classmates and leads to a lifelong commitment to one’s faith community.
Soccer
Our soccer program features two co-ed teams: the A team, composed of 7th and 8th graders, and the B team, made up of 5th and 6th graders. Competing against local schools in the spring, our soccer teams play their home games at the Vista Hermosa Sports Park.

Cheer
In partnership with The After School Sports PAL Program, Our Lady of Fatima Academy offers a sideline cheerleading program throughout the school year. Participation in the cheerleading squad requires enthusiasm, commitment, and a strong team player attitude. Students in this program support various after-school sports teams and participate in school-wide activities.
Beach Volleyball
The beach volleyball program consists of a single team comprising 7th and 8th-grade girls. During matches, the team splits into pairs to compete against local schools in the spring season. Beach volleyball matches take place at various locations throughout South Orange County.
